time change

Featured Replies

Well, time changes this weekend. i was wondering if this had any affect on the fish?

I would think it would due to the sun light lasting longer

thanks   i didnt realize the time changed this weekend   only affect i see is  ill be out there earlier  which means the fish will be getting a wake up call       that is a good question though

I'm pretty sure the physical time change won't have an effect on them. They don't know a thing about daylight savings. But, I do think when the sun rises and sets, which gradually changes throughout the year, certainly affects their patterns.

That's about right.

The time is not changing, only our clocks.  The fish do not care.  The only difference will be the time you are able to fish based on the artificial limits we place on ourselves by living in the modern world.  The good thing is, if one wishes to fish at sunrise, one can sleep in an extra hour :)

Exactly, the fish dont have clocks and watches. What triggers the fish to get in gear is the longer periods of daylight.

When the Summer gets into full swing, the daylight hours will up to 9PM.  :) :) :) :) :)
