Hey whatever happened with that kid that was trying for the jr world record? Was that just a joke or somethin?

The Igfa takes forever to give the thumbs up or down.  I spoke with them personally and it was verified that it was indeed submitted by Lee Ellis.

Awesome, and just technical issues with the picture?

Not really, I believe that

A.  The fish is a replica as the actual fish was submitted to the IGFA

B.  Lee's parents are very internet weary and with good reason.  Lee's Dad would not allow his pic to be posted unless the face was blacked out.

Give it time.  I just sent Becky Reynolds, world record administrator, IGFA, an e-mail requesting the staus of their review.  She is very helpful and will get back to me shortly.
