"Angler on Tour" Cancelled?

Featured Replies

Has "Angler on Tour" been cancelled?I really like that show. Joe Thomas is one of my favorites and seems like a really down to earth guy.

It's not listed on the current schedule on theoutdoorchannel.com, but it just may be on summer hiatus.  Joe films the shows during the current tour year and plays them back in the fall.  I don't recall if they showed reruns during summer last year or not.

I too have noticed that "Angler on Tour" hasn't aired in the past few months.  My whole take on the ordeal is that the network stopped airing the show because Joe did "Ultimate Match Fishing", so I'm guessing "Angler on Tour" will go back on air as soon as they stop airing that.

I saw Joe Thomas at the boat ramp today and asked him about this. He said it airs during the 3rd and 4th quarters of the years so it should be back on sometime in August.
