Hello Everyone, short term lurker, first time poster saying hello for the first time.

A little backgroun info about me and my fishing obsession(errr hobby)

Im a recent graduate of Marshall University in Huntington, WV with a BBA in Management Information Systems. So in short, my thing is turning data into usuable information. Obvious to see how this helps and fuels my fishing interests eh?

At any rate, I spent most of my teenage years in the area just using the "old school" method of sitting and waiting for a catfish or carp come yank on my line with chicken liver blood in my fingernails haha.

Recently, this spring, I happened to take a trip out on a boat on a local resevoir with a friend and the fever was on. Since then I also took a guided float trip on the New River in the mountains of West Virginia for smallmouth and between the scenery and the great fish that resulted, I figure I'm just as well give in to the demons and realize every waking moment now is concentrated on fishing.

I've been stopping by the forum for a couple weeks now and enjoy reading all the info and experts that frequent this wealth of information base. I just want to say that I am looking forward to sharing experiences and hopefully big fish with everyone here and am glad to have found such a nice place to learn all the tricks of the trade.

See ya on the water!

Welcome aboard! ;) You will learn more than you ever wanted to know here. :)

Welcome to the Forum Chanesaw. I graduated college the year after they invented dirt if I remember correctly. We are glad to have you and I look forward to reading posts from you.
