Bubble lines Good or Bad??

Featured Replies

When fishing with top water are bubble lines good to attract the bass or no?

The more bubble trail the better. I've hauled a buzzbait all the way in then noticed a pack of bass racing under the trail towards me.  After several such observations I now make sure I make a good trail by drilling extra holes in buzzbait blades and any other blade, like on a topwater prop bait. On a prop be sure to balance it by drilling a hole in each blade. I also cup blades often to make them spin better at lower speeds.

Agreed; bubbles are usually good during a steady retrieve. I use a 1/8 in drill bit on my buzzbait blades.

Bubbles good. Fish rely on sound and bubble trail to find bait on topwater. Like O'boy said, the more bubbles the better.

Oh, and Larry the Cable guy is dumb.
