  1. Not to HiJack the thread but i was stretching mine by dragging it behind the boat last summer with an old crankbait n hooked a 4 pounder..So maybe youll get lucky
  2. Thanks, I bought some flukes a few days ago and forgot to throw 'em in the tackle box.. I'll try them tomorrow night when I fish the canal...I fished a black jig with a shaker this morning and hooked a 3.5lb'er and and then a 4lb'er... Then threw a black buzzbait n had 3 fish strike it..So i'm figuring them out... ;D
  3. Hey guys, I'm trying to figure out these stubborn fish.. I'm fishing red dingy/muddy canals in South FL... The only thing i can get them to bite on is a wacky rigged stick bait in green with red flake and on a black jig. What else can i use to hook up with some more fish? The canals are moderately untouched with some rocks, weeds and some cover we made...Most of the fish are in the cover...If it helps we fish from a small boat(bass tender).. Any help is appreciated
  4. I was just gonna say it looked like a mayan cichlid(sp?)
  5. I was just at Holiday Park this morning and didnt do too horribly...we boated about 10 or 12 fish the biggest being 4lbs...but like you said you really have to chase them back up in the flats...
  6. Oh that sucks. Hope all is well now though
  7. Holiday park is dead these days cuz so many people fish it that the fish have seen everything. Lately I've been going north on 27 and going to Sawgrass Rec Park.... I've had better luck there. What Kinda boat/motor do ya have?
