$30 worth of lures

Featured Replies

Alright guys I've got $30 to spend on tackle from *** (i'm gonna order with a friend so don't need to spend 50 for free shipping). I need recommendations on what you guys think i should spend 30 bucks on. I really don't want to spend it all in one place. I'm also kind of lookin for some "exotic" stuff that I can't get at Dick's or local mom and pop shops.

What techniques do you like to fish the most?

What type of exotic lures are you looking at, crankbaits, spinnerbaits, etc?

looking at some hard baits probably. Swimbaits, jerkbaits, wake baits, cranks, rattle traps.

I would spend half of it on a LC RC 1.5  ;)

Furbit the Frog and a Poppin' Furbit.

Trap's, Trap's, and more Trap's! And a bag of elgrande rattlers.  ;)

I would probably get some terminal tackle even though it is not "EXOCTIC" like you said everybody probably needs more of it.

I recently purchased a 4 inch tru tungsten swimbait. One of my better purchases in a while. Its a swimbait but it is extremely light and can be thrown on a crankbait rod. So you don't have to have some huge rod to throw it. The action is amazing in the water. Just waiting for the ice to go away so I can see if it will catch fish. But seeing the action and the quality of the lure I am impressed so far. Also you can't go wrong with Lucky Crafts such as sammys, pointers, bds etc. Excalibur also makes a great lipless crankbait

blow it all on one lure...the deps buzzjet.

Oh yeah! That is a good one to get too. I would get a Buzzjet or a Punker.
