I have found away to peg your t-rig without doing any harm to your line. Now maybe some of you already know this!

 Take a bobber stop put it ahead of your sinker,and now you can push the bobber knot against the sinker to hold it in place against the worm or, if you want you can pull the bobber knot towards the rod tip and let the sinker move up and down the line. It is so easy to do and it works like a charm! ;D 8-)

I personally use Top Brass Tackles Peg-It system. Its basically a conical shaped peice of rubber that slides into the bullet weight with the line. Pull it until it becomes snug and clip off the excess, and your good to go. You can take a look at them here.

What you are talking about is pegging the weight to the t-rig.  I think the originally poster was talking about letting the weight still slide up and down the line, unpegged.  

I started using the bobber stops last year.  You have a couple of options.  You can place the stop tight to the wieght and hook or you can slide it up the line and allow the weight to move.  If you have a rod/reel combo that you only use for t-rig, you can leave the bobber stop on the line if you have to change hooks and or weights.  They are very inexpensive and do not hurt the line.  

This is probably the most useful tip I have ever gotten off this board.  Seriously.  I never peg my weights because I hate that it is a one shot deal.  This method is so versatile.  Thank you.
