ICE, ICE, ICE!!!!

Featured Replies

I visited the crick near my house. It usually doesn't freeze, well, this year different. There was 3 inches of ice on Saturday, and 5 and a half inches this morning. I thought it was odd :-?. The water is moving pretty slow, so I guess it could freeze.

Well if Niagara Falls can freeze any moving water can freeze

I thought we were heading for the end of the world due to global warming?

LMFAO!!!!!!! yea   really makes you wonder dont it   ;D

It does...one minute it's global warming and the next it's "We're all going to freeze to death"  ::)  ;D

I live 1/4 mile from one of the top whitewater rivers in the upper mid west. It freezes solid every year. Twenty below weather does that (NO! I don't mean wind chill).

I have been spraying hair spray in the air for years trying to warm it up a bit, now these clowns want to ruin all my work. >:(

FYI A wind swept lake will freeze faster then a calm lake. That is because the wind action mixes the cold air and cold water, chilling the whole lake faster then if it were calm. :-? (Honest!)
