Lake Fork Flutter Spoons?

Recommended Posts

I just ordered some of these and I am really excited.  I ordered the five inchers.  They look like they will be killer around here where the main forage is giant gizzard shad.  I am thinking these will be great around rockpiles and ledges.

Have any of you ever fished giant spoons like this?

I've used them at Lake Fork and Lake Anna. I got a couple stuck on the old bridge support at the Rt. 208 crossing at Anna.

They work very well. I remove the supplied hook and put on a feathered treble.

Don't think for a minute these are new lures. Pull up to a tree or any standing object out in deeper water, let it scrape the bark going down and hang on. Fishermen in East Texas have been spoon fishing for as long as I can remember.
