INFRARED THERMOMETER

Featured Replies

hey guys I was wondering, I have been thinking about maybe getting an INFRARED THERMOMETER so I can keep track of what temprture I am catching bass during the next couple of months, so I can record the information for next year.  I noticed doug hannon said he used an inferared thermometer that had a distance of 500 feet, well i dont need that but I would like one with a distance of at least 50 feet, I checked out cabelas and bass pro shops, but the infrared thermometers they have dont say how far away they can detect.  can anyone give me some advice or suggestions as to what to buy. thanks guys again :-[

i'd say that either could probably read at 50 feet...if I had to choose one I'd go with the gun style from Cabela's because I just like them...pull the trigger.

If you have a harbour freight near by they sell some that are cheap priced. You could also order one online. I think there about $20
