Take me fishing...

Featured Replies

Do those commercials and magazine ads get to you?  Here's one south-philly born redneck that isn't afraid to admit that I get choked up when I see those ads.

Gonna take my daughter fishing tonight.

Yes they do!  Especially the old guy, I think of my dad,  and the little girl I think of my daughter.

I keep asking my two daughters if they would like to go down to the community lakes and catch some bluegill or crappie, but they would rather go shopping with my wife.  I guess I'll just have to ask my nephew if he wants to go.

My boy LOVES to go fishing (with his little red casting plug thats the shape of a fish).

He can sit there all day long, he loosens the drag so it just flies out when he casts lol. he's only 3.

I don't take him as much as i should but its a blast when he gets to come with me, as long as i don't forget his drinks an snacks. lol

Just take a kid fishing. ::) Get the next door kid if you have to. Just take a kid fishing. 8-)

I have a two year old daughter and this winter she got pretty upset when I didn't take her ice fishing. I felt bad, but she's just not quite ready yet.  So last weekend I grabbed one of my ice rods and we practiced throwing a tube/jig with the hook cut off into a sled filled with water we had in the yard.  She had a good time and it's getting me really excited for when we can go for real.  I'm pretty sure the easter bunny is going to be bringing someone a Mickey Mouse pole.  ;)

They are great commericals.

Give a man a fish and feed him for the day.

Teach a man to fish and feed him for life.

I'm a lifer!!!

Can't wait till my little girl is old enough to go out on the boat!!!

Proud papa,
