fish not bitting

well went fishing to day and couldent even get a misquito(spelled correct)to bite tried every thing in my tackele box.deep to low big lures to small lures.colorful to none colorful.i got one bite but it got off i was fishing for about 6 hours. it was cloudy about 50 deg. and i little wind if that was it? :-/ or are the fish just not out yet?

The fish are always out but sometimes not actively feeding. Whenever I face conditions like that I try to use some type of reaction type bait to make them bite. Jerkbaits or crankbaits mainly.

If the reaction baits dont work I will just drag something (usually a Power Bait worm) real slow on the bottom.

If the fish are suspended, I like a wacky rigged *** ***.
