New Spro McStick jerkbait

Featured Replies

Anyone tried these these yet?  I have been hearing good reports on them.

I have them.  I caught a few Bass on them in December.   I like them, they have a good action.   I think they will work better when the water gets up in the mid to high 40's up here.  The pointer is the bait when the water is in the 30's.

The McStick is going to be a prespawn bass killer!  Wait until the water hits the low to mid 40's and the fish are going to start crushing it.

This bait was designed for cold water and post frontal conditions and so far it's been perfect for me in those 2 conditions.  The rattles are similar to the Smithwick Rogue, but it dives a bit deeper and it also has a way better swimming action on a steady retrieve.

Try it out.  You will like them.

I watched Mike McClelland fish with one today. I love the action and I'm telling you they work great.

I looked at these online and thought to myself, self, I wonder what sets this lure apart from the renound lucky craft pointers?  Aside from probably price.  So I ask this of the Mcstick users, what sets this lure apart from the other jerkbaits?  What is it that will make me want to trade in my lucky crafts for the mcstick?

This is a great jerkbait, i have caught many nice fish on it lately and two over 5

While these McSticks may have thier place in my jerkbait box (not exactly sure where yet)  they are not replacing the pointers anytime soon.  Just another option for me.

I have been wanting to try these out - Are they good in cold water?

Spro makes some nice baits - I love their bbz1 shzad slow sink.

Fished Lake Arbuckle yesterday in Oklahoma which is a pretty clear lake. Only caught four fish but the biggest was 6.5lbs, all on the Spro McStick. Caught them all on the Chrome Shad color. Water temp. was 49-51 degrees.  They cast great in the wind and have great hooks.
