"The Bass Pros" TV series by BPS

Although I have never seen it on television, BPS has aired an eleven episode season of a show called "The Bass Pros" and has recently started selling the "Season One" CD, which includes all eleven episodes, sans comercials.

It is, by far, one of the most imformative fishing related CDs I have ever bought. Everything shown is a learning experience.  Although all episodes are hosted one or more Bass Pros, there are VERY few sales pitches.  Every episode is a how-to seminar.  I highly recommend it to both novice and experienced anglers.  BPS sells it for about $20.

Perhaps the best fishing show I have ever seen.  My only gripe is that it could be a little more in-depth.

Putting this on my wish list.

Maybe it will get me through the long winter months of snow and blowing. Sad time of year.

The only reason that I would actually move down south. Fishing year round.  8-)

I agree that it is the best.  All the episodes were originally shown in the months of January - March.  Now they just keep repeating the same episodes over and over on television.  I wish they would have recorded about 6 months worth to begin with.  I've watched them all three or four times.  I look forward to next season.

What channel is it on? Maybe I could DVR it  :)

It's on Versus, which used to be the Outdoor channel.

Being Slightly dyslexic can lead to some funny times .I thought you said BASS PROS on PBS, so I tuned in to watch some little fat bald guy, playing a big ol double bass with a bow:MOZART   ARUGH!!!!

I think Versus used to be the Outdoor Life Network (OLN).

The Outdoor Channel is still called The Outdoor Channel (it's the home of Monday Night Fishing).

We're lucky enough to get both on basic cable.

It's a very informative show. I've seen them all at least twice. It's on every Monday morning at 10:00 just before Bill Dance. Can't wait to see next seasons episodes.
