However, you should only get that jig if I you are willing to fish for 0-1 bites a day.  Those things are monsterous when combined with a full size Brush Hog.  I would be surprised to see anything under 4 pounds eat it.

The jig trailer you choose will have a big impact on the jig's fall rate. A trailer with a big profile will create more resistance and cause the jig to fall slower. If you want a slow fall, try a light weight jig (1/4 oz. or so) with a GYCB Flappin Hog or Berkley 4" Chigger Craw.

Find a light weight jig head that has a lot of skirt material and put on a large trailer and it will fall really slowly.

These are great jigs! One of my go to jigs if not my number one!

That's why I like them so much, I Put on a Paca Chunk or the back half of a Baby Brush hog and load the boat!

How slow is "slow" - experiment with different trailers and you will see that some will make your jig more boyant than others.  While you will hear a lot about fish biting on the fall (and this is true) you will find more fish will hit your jig when you are jigging it.  So don't be afrad to let it hit bottom.
