my friend and i made some brushpiles. they used bricks with wire and string while i used planting buckets and concrete. how do yall make em?

Here are a few I made to fight cabin fever and hopefully congregate the fish.

A quick easy way is to cut a sycamore tree, pull it to the place you want it and let it fall.  Sycamore sinks without any added weight.

I like how you put those brush piles together!  I wish I had a plentiful supply of 5 gallon buckets and PVC.  I would make some of those too!  One thing that I do before I load the boat is cover the whole thing with 2 mil plastic.  I load all the brush and cinder blocks on top of it.  After I drop the last bundle of brush,  I roll up the plastic and all the leftovers.

I've been toying with the idea of adding some structure to my pond - a lot of great ideas here.  I really like the thought of using PVC.  Know it is more expensive than just collecting brush, but would rather spend a few $$ on PVC than lose some lures hooked in the brush.

In Texas, we have lots of local jack potters that fish there brushpiles every year.    They get paid pretty well most of the time.
