cruising bass?

Featured Replies

today i saw a sand flat about 2 to 3 feet deep and i saw bass every where just cruising how should i fish for them?

Present your bait so that you are throwing where they are going. You pretty much gotta make it so its easier for them to eat it then swim around it. Crusing bass are tough!

first off make long casts ...i fish a vlear lake and the fish never bite when your rite over them.second, use a finess bait with light line..and third try to skip it to thm, the bass seemto raect i a posotive way when the bait skips.

Have had "some" luck with throwing a spinnerbait about 20 yards past them and worked it in so it was coming down the bank parallel and basically running right into them. Just a thought.

When you think your approaching them...give the the spinnerbait a few jerks or even kill it and let it helicopter down. That may get them to react. Sometimes they just ignore it and your screwed. :)
