Ok, so I am now catching consistently many fish from 1.75 lbs to 3.1 lbs.   But I just can't seem to pull out anything larger than that.  Is there a secret to getting the big fish?  

Where are you? What state? How big a water body?

I am in central Indiana, and I am fishing a pond at least 9-11 acres.  I hope I am not going to be told that there are not going to be any larger fish, although after thinking about it it could be true.  I have never fished a large lake or anything so I don't know.  Thanks in advance.

I fish a pond about 4 acres big and I have pulled fish out up to 10 lbs.

If you are pulling out and abundance of small fish then maybe they are eating all the food not allowing the fish to get but so big... Thats just my view point on it.

But you can catch huge fish out of pounds!!! Dont let the fact of it being smaller then other bodies of water fool you. YOu can pull out just as big if not bigger fish in a limited fished pond.

Without knowing what you're fishing with, you could try bigger lures. If the big ones were easy to catch, I guess they wouldn't get big though...
