Classic patterns DVD's

Featured Replies

I have both series and the masters series and some of these DVD's are really informative, the best i've seen actually.

I heard somewhere a while ago they were filming a new season, has anyone heard anything about that or know when/if it will be released?

That would be awesome. I love the Classic Patterns Iaconelli vid on finesse fishing. It's the only one I have right now, but I am considering a few others.  :)

The Kelley Jordan one on Fork in the fall has got me good.  Looking to make it there in October.

If you like the Classic Patterns videos check out "The Bass Pro's" video from BPS. It has all 11 shows from the 2007 season plus three bonus vids. (4 hours)There is much BPS self promotion but the amount of good information in the videos makes it worth it.

where do you find the classic patterns dvds?

I bought the DVD last month, and I've practically worn it out. Once you get by the BPS hawking, it's 1st rate.

I have a couple of the Classic Pattern DVD's.  I bought mine on sale last summer at BPS.  I watched the KVD "Clear Water Spinnerbaits" last night.  Good stuff.

The other I have is on structure fishing.  It's okay.  I like the KVD one better.

Agreed. The Bass Pro's is a great vid for cheap money. The lack of commercials is even better. I watched a few minutes of one of the KVD segments, and it was like the light bulb went off over my head. "No wonder I didn't catch fish that day, I didn't alter my retrieve or try to hit some kind of cover with the bait!" Stupid stuff like that.

Remember, study the mouse, not the owl....

Awsome series.  Learn something new everytime.

Since the classicpatterns.com site is down.  Can someone tell me the particulars of the series?  How many series (from previous posts, it looks like two and a maters series)?  How many DVDs per series? And who makes up the/each series.  I would like to try and put together the set piece by piece.

Thanks,

When I use the www.classicpatterns.com link. I get the following message "No web site is configured at this address." Is this a valid address?

Who needs these DVDs when we all have LBH's online vids?? :D

Thanks for the tips on the DVDs guys. I plan on seeing if blockbuster online has any of them.

I used to be sponsored by Lucky Craft several years ago so I dealt with Mike Auten back then. He is the guy that produces the Classic Patterns series. I emailed him a while back in reference to the show, but I never did get a response. Since then, the site has not been working and I can find no listing for it on television.

I guess it must be over for now.
