Help with prespawn locations.

I fish mainly in the cumberland river in TN and creeks and coves that branch off of it. I have found some good prespawn locations in one of the bigger creeks i fish. Mostly in some deep bends of the creek with rocky shollow water close by. My question is where else would be some good places to look. Especially in the river. Alot of the smaller coves are really shallow with mostly muddy banks. Would these be good spawning sites for bass?
