Most of the bodies of water I fish do not have water flowing into it weather its from a pip stream etc...

Many have an outlet, what is the best way to fish this area and how close to the outlet pipe/stream should I be fishing...

In general or spefically for each "season"?

    All bodies of water have a feed source. The ones you believe that don't, are the ones with underground springs. No lake can survive without water exchange.

    To answer your question requires knowing how deep the lake is, water clarity, food source, vegetation, etc..
