Spring fishing

Featured Replies

Hey guys just trying to get a little information on what to fish with for my trip tomorrow to a local lake. Tomorrow here in massachusetts its supposed to be in the upper 40's lower 50's with a breeze. I'm looking for opinions on what to fish with. So far we've only been to catch 2 fish one on a crankbait and the other on a dead sticked jerkbait. Any advice would be great  8-)

I would stick with the jerkbait.  Fish it slow and without any aggressive actions.  With water that cold I like to fish it with my reel, not my rod.  Most strikes will come on the stop, leave it dead more than you normally would.  And, it doesn't hurt to put an attractant on.
