small mouth?

Yea thats what I was thinking but if so it would be very very rare as we dont have smallmouth in tuscaloosa,alabama or really anywhere around here...Someone told me a mean mouth smallie/spot mix....

It looks like a smallmouth but could very well be a mean mouth as you say.

It would be easier to indentify with the mouth closed. Did the bottom lip stop short or even of the eyes. It would be a rare find in south AL.!

might be a rare bass native to alabama and georgia.
