I looked at the field for the FLW Forrest wood Cup. Ive got to tell ya -Ive got my money on Ike-I think this is going to be where he shines.It totally fits into his style of fishing.He will be able to adapt from power fishing -crank baits ect to drop shotting . Im telling you its going to play right into his hand.People can yack all they want about the 5 lb bags that are weighed but I was there in 2005 . That was the most exciting weigh in ever. One missed fish was the difference between winning and losing. Aaron  Martins pretty much said it all when he dropped to his knees and did the death roll. Ya must fish flawlessly .When guys are fishing big fish waters -one bad day and you are out of it. Here you can zero one day -catch 10 lbs on the next and be leading the tournament. This is going to be good. Moneys on IKE

Ike is def a favorite to win, but my money is on either Takahiro or dave lafebre.  Also after talking to tommy biffle, he feels pretty confident about his chances too.  We will see, my bet is it takes roughly 32lbs to win.

It is interesting how different people think so, uhm... differently. When the best bass fishermen in the world show up to an event and they call it the Three Rivers Dinkfest I cannot get excited at all. Of all the great lakes and waterways that are available throughout the country.... they choose 'dinkfest' waters. Yawn.....

Were going down on Sunday to watch the final weigh in. I would say Ike is going to win.
