I imigine most of you already know this but some might not.

If you are out on the lake and you don't have a working scale, as in you just stepped on it, LOL, here is a formula that will give you a pretty close weight on the fish.

You could figure it with this formula measure the length and the girth at the largest part of the belly then multiply the lengthx lenghth x girth and divide that by 1200. So a 20 inch long fish with a girth of 10 inches would be 4000 and then divide by 1200 = 3.33333lbs.
