I live in the greater Cleveland area, and am bored out of my mind. I can't grab beers due to work in the a.m., so I was thinking of going fshing. It has been raining all day and is drizzling on and off. Would I be wasting my time if I went out? If I do go I thought i'd use a sammy, or pop-r, or white jig w/ white grub.  Will these do?

 Only if you go will you find out! Topwater maybe Jitterbug easier for bass to home in on the bait. Spinnerbait, black skirt with large Colorado blade. Dark jig and trailer. As always IMHO...

Yes! Fish @ night. I always use black lures. Black spinnerbaits, black topwaters, black and blue chatterbaits, dark colored baby minus 1's, even a black worm from timt to time. I my opinion I would save the whites for bright sunny days. Many articals I have read use this as a rule of thumb "bright days light color lures, overcast and night time, dark color lures. Fishing at night can be extreamly productive. Good luck.
