Bait Monkey won't let go

Featured Replies

I planned on getting a 200E7.The Bait Monkey said "No"! He told me to get a Chronarch or a Core or else. I can swing this if I put off retiring for another year. Why should I give in ? I've hidden from the Monkey before but usually paid for it later.

I had the bait monkey tamed for awhile. Then i went to Wal Mart and saw they have Abu Garcia Revo S's on sale for $70. I picked one up, then went back a few days later and picked up two more. Bass Pro and most tackle outlets have them priced at $129, so i wasnt going to pass up this deal .The bad news is i had to buy rods for the reels.

The bait Monkey is a nessissary evil. If it weren't for him we would all be fishing with worms and bobbers.

I was doing pretty good this year.  I had only spent about $150 on various baits and restocking my soft plastics.  Then, I went to the Bassmasters Classic Expo.  The monkey knocked me out.  I left with a Revo STX, Skeet Reese rod, and various other "gotta have" baits.  Oh well, it was fun.
