Featured Replies

wat is this??  :) has anyone used these??? things that seem to good to be true normally are right?

^^^ haha nevermind... soft plastic blend... so the same size as lead...

when I was looking for tungsten bullet weights to use I came across these. They were on sale at my local tackle store for really cheap next to the high priced tungsten...and there was a good reason...these are horrid. If they're the ones I think they are, they have what seems like a soft rubbery coating over them, really kills the feeling of bumping things underwater, and pulling them through weeds, grass, whatever is a chore.

ah , i see.  :-[

never used tungsten before , but the price looked good...

I fell for the price too =D

alot of people like the tru-tungsten weights, I like them also but they get to be really expensive...for a cheaper alt turn to ebay. Ebay ones will have plastic inserts (which people have had issues with them popping out and cutting their line) vs the beveled inner edge.  I haven't had any issues with the insert problem so I can't justify spending so much on the tru-tungsten.

But whatever your choice, both options will still give ya the smaller weight profile and crisper bottom detection.
