THe river has come up several feet and the backwater areas that had 2 feet of milfoil to the surface now has milfoil 6" below the surface in 4-5ft of water.  Can't fish it with a frog and its the entire backwater area.  I can see fish spooking off occasionaly so I know there is bass in there, I just think all the bigger ones are underneath of it and there is so much area to cover.

http://www.tru-tungsten.com/denny-brauers-flippin-weights.html. i use the 1.5 oz to punch through that stuff. beavers, brushogs, lizards and flukes all work. Or cast a brushog on top weightless, pull it to the edge of the weeds and let it fall right beside it
