Has anyone else seen this from bassmaster. I for sure am going to try it just not all in one year. Plus they just added the alabama spot so now there are more bass to catch. I liken it to the turkey hunting slam which is something else I would like to accomplish.

Hurts my heart that I can't try do it here in Colorado. 

What I've tried to do for the past 4 years is my own Colorado slam.  This consists of catching a Smally, a LMB, a Walleye, a Croppy, a Brook Trout, a Rainbow Trout a Cutthroat Trout, and a Brown Trout.  Last yar I got all of them but the Cutthroat.

If you achieve this feat of the Black Bass slam you HAVE to let us know bro.  GO FOR IT AND GOOD LUCK!!!

Dude that CO slam sounds like a blast. I should be able to get it done texas is the hardest part for me since I'm close to most of fish and have family throughout FL. We will see though

There are 8 species of black bass and one subspecies and the goal is to catch each one and they all have their own minimum length. Its just something fun to do and bassmaster will reconize those who accomplish the feat

Now that something to shoot for.

Heck Senko77 caught four of them out of the same stretch of river one day last month. (Spot, Shoal, Northern, Smallmouth) All were big.
