Like the title says,which one is worth more on both a financial level and a personal level?

The Classic.

Used to be AOY for me, but now, I think the person that has the most points at the end of the regular season would be the most presigious spot in my books.  Thats the person who fished the top of his game for the longest, and spent the most time at the top throughout the year.  The person that can consistantly do that is the best angler, and that to me is the most prestigious spot to be.   

Definatly harder to win AOY because you must be consistant on different bodies of water and in different parts of the country.  That being said, The Classic is still more prestigious in my book because its like the superbowl of bass fishing.  WOuld you rather win a superbowl or a MVP award as a quarterback?

Also...who cares!!! KVD won em' both.   

The Classic is marketed as the most prestigious but I think most Elite Series Pros will tell you that they hold the AOY trophy in higher regard.

The classic is a "bigger deal." AOY is cool and all but it's based on skill AND a weird post season.  The classic is one tourney, for all the marbles.  Love it!

The Classic is more prestigious, especially considering the current AOY system.

The Classic makes for better ads.  AOY demonstrates consistency and versatility.  They are both prestigious.

I would have confidently said AOY is more prestigous if they hadn't changed to the current format BS.

The Classic, in theory, is an easier tournament to win for an Elite Angler. You're only fishing against half the field (or less than half) and it's only a 3 day event.

With the current AOY format in place, I'd say it's a toss up.

I would say AOY. If you can knock off KVD, you're a god.
