You won't regret Dream Lake....Really, really amazing fishing, you won't catch anything under 2 pounds, and LOTS of 5+ pounders.....

Homemade Southern cooking at every meal, great hospitality, big 21-foot bass boats, but quiet/serene/isolated, you can tell I love this place. Best Bass fishing I've ever seen......

We like Lake Comedero even better. It's about 1 hour from El Salto and more remote and less fished. It's as quiet and peaceful as it gets. We have been going down there the last few years and it's safe. Heading down January for the first time this season.

Your screen name has CA Delta in it. I don't think you need to travel very far for the fish you are seeking.

Exactly what I was thinking...

Clear Lake?! The Delta?! Duhhhhh.  :o

If those aren't good enough for you, go to a large farm pond !

We've gone to clear lake 3 times now and it has not been very good any of those times lol.It has now become a heavily pressured lake and isnt as good as it was 3 or 4 years ago.You have to be pretty familiar with it to fish it well now, or go with someone who's good with it.And yes the delta is awesome but we're looking to do a bigger trip than a 45 minute drive  ;D haha
