Spot Remover question

Featured Replies

hey guys what weight SR's do you guys like to use the most? Also what do you like to put on it? i am using a 6'6 mh with 12lb silverthread (10lb diameter) with it as well.. headed to a lake tomorrow with lots of stumps in 7ft of water or less..

I use 1/4 oz original model.  I throw it on a 7' ML with 20lb braid and 12lb. flouro leader.  I really like the Berkley Shakey Power Worms in green pumpkin.

the  only two sizes they has was 1/8 and 1/4. i assume the 1/8 would be for lighter winds and shallower water? and the 1/4 for the opposite or is the 1/4 just a good general weight? they did not have what i wanted which was 3/8

I have both 1/8 and 1/4, I use the 1/4 80% of the time with good results.

I've had good luck throwing a Trick Stick and surprisingly good luck throwing *** lake fork craw on the spot remover.  The craw seems to produce really well in rivers/streams.  That Jack's worm looks like it may produce as well!  Good luck

Used the 1/8 oz. for throwing beaver craws in 1-4 ft. water my first time out. I was throwing the pro model.

those jacks are killer for smallies in rivers and creeks. fish it weightless or with a small weight and allow the current to move the bait and sink. bang, i slay em
