Plastic Worm Dilemma

Featured Replies

I have been looking through some plastic worms on the BPS website. I am torn between 3 plastic worms and would like to purchase more of the better worm. The worms are below:

BPS Squirmin Super Worm

Zoom SS+ U Tale

Zoom Old Monster

Cant decide which one I should buy more of. They all seem to have very positive reviews.

-Thanks for the help.

I don't have experience with any of those but when I have a decision to make like this I'll usually buy a couple bags of each and test them all out.

It won't take long to find your fav!

Good luck!

Of the three, I like the Zoom SS U Tail best. They are all good though, even though I rarely use the old monster.

The Zoom worms are both good.  Don't have any experience on the BPS.

My dad has caught lots of bass on the BPS worms.

I have caught a bunch of fish on both types of Zoom worms.  Do not let the 10" size of the Old Monster deter you.  Smaller fish eat it too.

I'm a big fan of Zoom worms. The Zoom chartreuse/motor oil C-tail was my go-to worm last year, and it caught the majority of my fish. I have a bag of BPS worms that have never produced for me, but I haven't gotten a chance to fish them much since I picked them up at the end of the summer.

Man, I can't wait to stock up on some stuff this year!

I dont carry any of the worms you listed....but i will say my favorite is anything made by Charlie's.  I dont know why but i always have the best bite on Charlie's soft plastics.  (when i go for the larger ones i stick with the 10in red shad culprit, and as i read in a post earlier on this thread...its very true, the small ones will definitely still eat the larger worms!!)

Just buy all of them, LOL! I have personally used the squirmin worm and the monster with equally good results.

get em all.

Let the bait monkey be your voice of reasoning in a situation like this.

Can't go wrong with any of the ones mentioned they are all great products and have their time and place.

Later, :)

Gotta agree with that one.  Worms are cheap enough to buy a few bags to experiment with until you find something you like.  Unless you start experimenting with Senkos, they are really economical to play around with. Probably around 3 or 4 bucks a bag at most places.

get em all.

X2 for a few bucks a pack go for it. If you dont like them give them to someone or trade for something. Better than buying 3 or 4 Lucky Crafts before you decide which you like (even though they're all nice :))

Only the bass know which they prefer :)
