Laser Lure----yes again!!

Featured Replies

I saw a commercial with Boyd and Ike for them and it got me thinking.  They use the cat chasing the light as their analogy of why the bass chases the lure.  My theory is, the cat chases the light on the floor, and never looks or notices the source of the laser.  If this lure is moving and the light is striking the bottom, won't the bass chase the dot of light and never find the source (the crankbait)??

Just a theory---let the slamming begin!! ;)

i always fall for those commercials and it ends up being a waste of money :'( :'( :'(

Sounds like a pretty good point to me!!!

Good point, but the "laser" isn't really a laser, but a red LED making the actual light, the source, the visualized portion, not a spot infront of the light because the bulb has no focus....I think

The question is - will this lure work with my Roland Martin endorsed Rocket Fishing Rod?

Big Bass Burley brought some Laser Lures along when we went to Kentucky. From what I saw, they dont put off a laser beam like a laser pointer does.

fish reacting to lasers.

bass

i ordered a couple but havent had the opportunity to throw them much.

i believe it is a small laser not a led,(it messed up my vision like a laser does) that shoots through and diffuses in the bill, . i would say they would work best in a clear lake,on a cloudy day, (might be a great night lure) with the translucent lure body to maximize the laser effect.

lure quality otherwise is ok.

i believe from the videos that there is something with lasers and fish, not just red light, but i dont believe it is implemented properly in these lures, but i still need to throw them more before i discount them.

i would be curious to hear if anyone took them night fishing.

The LaserLure has a red flashing light to attract the bass, etc.

That's all it does.

Does it work?

Too early to tell.  ;)
