Any advice?

Featured Replies

I'v been having a little trouble finding some smallies right now. I'v tried tubes, senkos, crankbait, and just can't find any. Does anybody have any advice?

We'll need some more info, what kind of conditions are you facing, what is the water temperature, what kind of structure/cover are you targeting, tell us about the water you are fishing.

Need input. Is it cold water as in 35-38? This is the best time to catch them here for big fish. They stack up in the holes and winter haunts and can be easy to find and catch. If they are not hitting tubes then I would say you are in the wrong place. Smallmouth and tubes go hand and hand. Day in and day out, of all the baits for smallies, I feel that the tube is at the top. How about a scenario of water temp, bottom composition, fast water, slow water, etc. I am sure these guys can put you on them.

Need Info. If there are smallies we can find them! They can run but not hide.
