ive heard of t rig, pegged and unpegged......just not sure wat all this means

Pegging a t-rig means to use something such as the point of a toothpick,to put the sinker in a fixed position at the eye of the hook.Un-pegged would is just a normal t-rig allowing the sinker to slide on the line.

I don't t-rig a tube.I use either a slide-in jighead with an exposed hook or a shakyhead to hide the point of the hook inside the tube for a more weedless lure.

If I am pegging I use Tru-Tungsten Smart Pegs

Something I have also added inside my tube is Alka-Seltzer drives em nuts at times. Anyone else ever try this?

ya i have a few of the hooks that slide in and then u can just pop them out and the hook is exposed.

ive done it before but ive never had sucess with tubes but i hear so much about them

pegged is where the weight doesnt slide and unpegged the weight slides  but for tubes i have trouble hooking fish using a trig  im a big fan of the internal jigheads  they are not weedless but the internal jighead is alot more snagproof then a normal jighead  

T-rigged, unpegged with HP hook

If you,re fishing sand or rock in less than 20' of water slide a 1/8 or 3/16 oz jig into a tube and always push it right to the end of it. This works best in 3 1/2" but 4" tubes work good also. In deeper water go to 1/4 - 3/8 oz depending on how strong the wind is.

Texas rigging, weightless for a slow fall, with a 1/16 - 1/4 oz bullet weight if you want the tube to fall head first(heavier cover)

, and use a worm hook with a centre weight if you want the tube to fall flat ( falls slower this way ).
