Anyone Ever Try Dead Sticking A 5" Senko In Clear, Shallow Water Grass?
In my eyes if you are dead sticking baits in the fall you are missing out on the Fall bite. fish are feeding in fall if you are waiting for a bite you are not in the right location IMO. please keep dead sticking if you feel the need but I am turn and burn in the fall.

Donkey (Double Fluke) Rig Problem
I don't think line would be a problem but maybe you need a fluro to sink and a mono to float but I am not sure. I am going to try braid main line and fluro for my leaders.

Best Lures For Pressured Lakes.
Lake Nockamixon, Deleware River, I see are your favorite places to fish both are good fishing areas but are extremely liminited to where the fish locate or feed. I have been fishing them for years and you are lucky to limit out with a boat let alone from the bank. If I were you I would try joining a club I fish division 9 American bass Anglers on the delaware river bunch of good sticks there who could teach you some Areas to fish on the river.

Maybe this will help... I get 1099's every year from fishing and need to file tax forms from fishing, yet I still am not close to being a pro!

piscataway creek (potomac river)
There are a few trees in the mouth you might hit running in. I generally go in under trolling motor. I have had some nice fish of the wood back a ways on the right side.

how to tell when its a bass strike or weeds
Every year I force myself to sit in one spot with scattered grass. Then I'll throw a crank bait to locate the weed clumps. (you will know when it comes back after hitting grass). Anyway after I locate the weed clumps I'll take out one of each type of baits and fish around till I get the feel for each bait. This might sound boring but a day of getting the feel down can and will increase your catch rate. Hope this helps let me know how you make out!

Flipping the Jungle- Tips for rigging?
One thing that was hard for me was not to drop your rod tip when setting the hook. If you do the fish will feel the weight of the sinker and spit it. if you feel a fish just lift hard and do not drop the rod. Good luck
