Anyone ever try dead sticking a 5" Senko in Clear, shallow water grass in the fall?

Did that today didnt get any shallow3-4fow but went deeper 15fow and caught 2. I deadstick senko then fish a jig or crawler on other set-up.

jig 0, crawlers 4, senko 2.

That is a common technique to use when fishing shallow with a senko type worm, especially in the Spring through Fall seasons. I hope you have success with it.

I do it alot to be honest, especially when i wacky rig it.

In my eyes if you are dead sticking baits in the fall you are missing out on the Fall bite.

fish are feeding in fall if you are waiting for a bite you are not in the right location IMO.

please keep dead sticking if you feel the need but I am turn and burn in the fall.
