Spring is absolutely my favorite time of year for smallies. Alot of my sows come this time of year. Spinnerbaits work well this time of year for me as well.

glenn, you live in WA right?  it'll be a while till smallies here start spawning :)  i went out on Lake Stevens and Lake Washington this weekend... didn't even get a darn bite.  water's still in the mid 40's :(

Well at least u guys got some water to go on....everything is still frooze over here and this 15F isnt helping matters ;)
