Rusty Hooks

Featured Replies

Lately, my hooks have been getting rusty. They may have before, but I'm noticing it a lot now.  It's happening to my worm hooks, and to my hard lures. Is there anything that I can do about this?

Buy some zerust by flambeu you can get small organizers  for your hooks and other sizes for ur crankbaits its all i use for my hard lures and hooks

id change them or if you want some WD40 (deep creep if ya can) and sandpaper...

Either store them in a dry place or do what I do and replace all my hooks on my hard baits and worm hooks every year.

Keep them dry. If they get wet, empty the containers and lay everything so that it will dry.

Keep them sharp. A rusty hook has a tendency to break off the point and cannot be sharpened back to factory specs.
