Any other Ohio River smallie chasers??

Featured Replies

Just wondering if there are any other guys on here that fish the ohio river. If so, what's the latest you guys fish? I put my boat away Oct 21 and I think it was way too early. I've read articles in mags on internet forums about guys catchin 'em clear up til Christmas this year. There was a guy up around Pittsburgh that was still fishing. He said 10 plus fish days were common.

Also, I need to learn more about fishing the original river channel, ledges if you will. Any good advice would be appreciated. I have fished a small club here on the river for the last two years. I've moved up in the standings pretty steady both years, but this year I want to really contend. I fish the bars, rip rap, chunk rock banks, etc..., But I think I need to check out the deeper water to take the next step.  Like I said, any info and tips would be greatly appreciated. :)
