Luckycraft custom painted lures with no "O" rings.....

Hey all....

I recently bought some older LC crankbaits custom painted, real nice. They have a connection ring on the bill but no "O" ring off of that. Is this normal? Should I put "O" rings on?

    Before being painted all the o-rings are taken off.  They must not have been put back on.  LC sells the hardware so I would pick some up and they should be good to go.
