Outpatient Procedure Tomorrow 04/04

I'm having an Upper Endoscopy done at 6:30am and I hate being knocked out. I'm trying to talk the doctor in to letting me stay awake during the procedure, 10-20 minutes. There's just something about having a complete stranger administer me drugs to knock me out when it's not a dire emergency.

Has anyone ever had this done without sedatives? This will be my 2nd time but I was knocked out for the first.

No clue about this procedure but I wish the best and a speedy recovery!

My mom has had it done a couple of times. It was no big deal for her. Good Luck!

Hope all is fine and there are no problems.

Is the doctor video taping the procedure so you can watch it at home? :)

Cool idea. I didn't know they could/would offer that service.

I'm so wasted right now from the anesthesia, hahaha. I have no idea why some people like getting high. Yea, I feel happy but I'm bouncing off the walls when I try walking. I hate not being in control of myself.

The doctor said everything looks fine but have a minor issue of acid reflux.
