Drop shotting a tube???

Featured Replies

So I typically drop shot a 4" roboworm in aaron's magic and fish just kill it... it may slowly be my go to over a senko.

Question: can you drop shot a tube; like a 3" gitzit?  Will it have the same action or will it not work well?

I just read/heard about drop shotin' a tube somewhere.  They suggested draging it slow across the bottom more than just shaking it in place like you would with a fin s worm on a shot.  Suppose to be really good for smallies too.

Haven't tried it yet but I'm going to once the fish hit there summer deep water spots.  Sounds like it could be killer.

Perfect... I will give that a try today and report back this evening.

I drag a tube on a "Wiggle Rig", with start & stop vibrations. This is basically a drop shot rig with the elastic at the sinker end. Works very well when the fish are inactive.
