Sometimes It Pays To Be A Lefty

Featured Replies

A few days ago I went to Gander Mountain to buy another Citica 201E. I was going to try to get them to match an internet price, but right as I walked in the door was a table with some reels on sale for 25%off. There was ONE citica 201E. $89!!!! I get tired of manufactures that only make select models in LH. Finally using a lefty made life easier, or at least cheaper.

im not left handed but i reel with my left hand and work the rod with my right. i bought my first baitcaster in february, lefty of course, and caught my first bass on it yesterday...

Nice find. I reel left-handed too and I hate that the don't make all the same reels in lefty.

I too am right handed but use LH reels. To me it's more natural and comfortable.

Great find at a great price and I use lefty baitcast reels also and hat that some models I look at don't come that way but the ones I've been using do and very happy with them.

Citica E is a nice reel. Good find.

I'm a lefty but a use right handed reels. I don't have to switch hands when pitching or casting. That's one advantage to having my wires crossed.

Congrats, man! Same here, only it was on Wednesday! It was also my new P.B., and my first of this year! There's a whole bunch of lefty Accurist PT501's (older model) all over the internet for cheap right now. I got one on eBay for $51 shipped, and just this week I ordered another one from www.boatersworld.com, for $43 shipped. Paired each with Cabela's XML rods I got out of the local Bargain Cave for $53 each, I have d**n good setups for cheap.

Congrats! That is a steal of a deal. Reminds me of the time I walked into a local shop and came across Crucials for $59.00. I definitely snatched it up, but I didn't have the foresight to ****** up the other Crucials for that price (when they were at $130.00)

I could have turned around and sold them for $100.00 easy and given myself and the buyer a good deal. Doh! They were gone when I got back. Double Doh!

I got to use my new citica yesterday and man it is SWEET! I have another one on a different rod, which I love, but this new reel really makes my shimano clarus an incredible combo.
