Would like to try netbait paca craw.....

Featured Replies

I fish for both smallies and LM and was wondering if I were to try a paca craw or baby paca craw, what popular color to try ?

The Netbait Paca Craw has become very popular here in Indiana. I know guys who fish them as spinnerbait trailers in the solid white. They can fish the spinnerbait much slower and it creates a quicker rise for fishing just below the surface. I just took a guy to El Salo last week and he must have had 30 packs of the Craws. He fished every color imaginable with some sucess. I can't tell you a "best" color, as it really depends on where your fishing. I know he likes the black and blue on a black jig and a watermelon on a green jig. I do think they are a good bait and have fished them myself as a jig trailer. Try both sizes as situation dictates.

both the paca craw and it's smaller version are great baits. you can put the smaller one on a football jig head. the larger are great flipping and pitching baits. i like black and blue, green pumpkin and watermaelon. i pitch the on a 4/0 ewg hook w/ a 3/8 oz weight

i love the baby paca and i also use the chunk and chunk sr. i love to use them on a swimming jig and i flip the baby paca. okeechobee craw is my go to color.

Don't know what water you fish but I think green pumkin works in alot of places.

You can't go wromg with the Baby Paca Craw in one of the Green Pumpkin or Watermelon colors in most waters.

I fish both sizes, but I do better on the Baby Paca Craw here in Indiana.  I sell far more Baby Paca Craws than I do larger ones also.

The new Tiny Paca Craw should be a killer for smallies and spots.  I'm anxious to try these out this year.
