  1. i like a 7'medium mod/fast for cranking. for jigs/worms a 7'mh fast or 7'heavy depending on the cover im fishing.
  2. Ive seen a couple of different techniques for jerkbaits. one is tip down an a snap motion and also a pull or snap to the side. is this a preference or a difference of 2 presentations?
  3. i put a curado 7:1 on my flipping stick this year 7'6 clarus. thinking on upgrading to a 1piece 7'6 crucial. for pitching i use a 7'heavy crucial on that i have a shimano castaic. but you have to use what is comfortable and affordable to you. i didnt fish with my 7.1 reel yet but i figure to take up more line and get them out of cover a high speed reel is a convienence
  4. up here: hair jig 1/8-1/4oz, cabin creek spider parts, lc dd pointers, jig/pig, robo worm dropshot
  5. im looking to replace my quantum reel on my flipping stick. I cast right handed and switch hands to reel. I was wondering if it is worth getting a reel with a flipping switch? or get a left handed retrieve reel? If i get a flipping reel it will be a castaic or if i get just a regular bc reel it will be a curado.
  6. i think Ish Monroe is the only one using them.
  7. i like copolymer lines. i just bought a bunch of gamma line. it's breaking strength is much more than the rated # test. for instance 17#test is rated breaking strength is 34#s. copolymer is a blend of materials, unlike mono is usually nylon. copolymer is more limp and less memory.
  8. just wondering whats baits you like pitching? wether it is vegetation or shallow wood or anything on the bank. and how about weight. i start with 3/8 and work my way up from there.
  9. i would go with 7' heavy for pitching and carolina rig to use for both. the heavy has more butt to it to muscle bass from vegetation. you can get away with 17# test if you go with gamma line.
  10. does anyone use rod wrap over their cork grips? just wondering if it looses some sensitivity.
  11. both the paca craw and it's smaller version are great baits. you can put the smaller one on a football jig head. the larger are great flipping and pitching baits. i like black and blue, green pumpkin and watermaelon. i pitch the on a 4/0 ewg hook w/ a 3/8 oz weight
  12. i have mine made at tournament force. i use 2 different colors 1 is called smallie killer, it's chartreuce with strands of gold. 2nd is champlain it's gold with some white. http://www.tfbass.com/1spin-buzz-colors.html
  13. i should of expanded. when choosing a color for soft plastics does green pumkin make a difference for lmb ? Right now i stick with black/blue and grren pumkin. I was just wondering if i should be expanding my color selection?
  14. are these two colors a preference or are they a big difference in color selection?
  15. paca craw by netbait. or the new okachobee rig.
  16. i used all quantum last couple of years. i started buying shimano this year, in fact i got m first curado today. high speed 7.1
  17. why green over a clear line? isnt it more visible in water?
  18. does anyone know the breaking strength with gamma???
  19. just looking for some opinions on line. wondering if anyone has used either gamma line or yozuri hybrid copolymer lines?
