It Feels So Good!

Featured Replies

This season is already looking like it is going to be a unique one compared to previous years. I've been hitting one of my favorite holes in this stream that is usually on fire right about now. I've been there four times so far and until today and the ninth of April, I haven't managed to get a bite. I fished it on the ninth and managed four bites. Lost one at the bank and then caught a pickerel and that was it. I went back today and fished a black and blue jig with a black/red fleck craw trailer. I only managed to get one bite but I caught him. I had to drag the jig slowly across the bottom of the stream. He put up a nice fight for an early bass. Only weighed 1 lbs 08oz., but boy that first bite of the season is awesome! The other good news is that my lakes have finally opened up and now I will be able to take the bass boat out! :D

Well here is the monster:
